The customer is a global contract research organization (CRO) that provides clinical trial management and drug development services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies. They handle the full spectrum of clinical research, from study design and patient recruitment to data management and regulatory submissions, helping companies bring new therapies to market faster and more efficiently.

We are seeking a Backend .NET Developer with strong expertise in modern .NET technologies to design and build scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. The role requires someone who can quickly integrate into delivery teams and contribute with minimal ramp-up time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using .NET and .NET Core
- Design and build RESTful APIs to support application functionality
- Partner with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices are followed
- Collaborate on system design, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience (5 years+) with .NET and .NET Core
- Proven expertise in REST API development
- Solid experience with SQL Server and database design
- Good understanding of authentication and authorization in enterprise applications
- Experience working within Agile teams
- Ability to contribute effectively with limited onboarding time
- Upper-intermediate English skills or above (English is the primary language of communication in the company)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based development
