The customer is a global contract research organization (CRO) that provides clinical trial management and drug development services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies. They handle the full spectrum of clinical research, from study design and patient recruitment to data management and regulatory submissions, helping companies bring new therapies to market faster and more efficiently.
A global life sciences technology organization is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to guide the vision, strategy, and evolution of its clinical software platform. This position plays a central role in shaping solutions that support modern clinical research, ensuring products are both technologically strong and aligned with the real-world needs of sponsors, CROs, and research teams. The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic insight, product leadership, and domain expertise in clinical trials and RBQM. Success in this role means delivering products that stand out in usability, innovation, and market impact—while driving measurable value for customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the full product lifecycle—from early concept and discovery through launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization.
- Translate customer needs, market trends, and business objectives into clear product requirements and prioritized roadmaps.
- Conduct competitive and industry research to identify opportunities, emerging technologies, and potential risks within the life sciences ecosystem.
- Partner closely with engineering, design, commercial teams, and customer-facing groups to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
- Maintain and communicate product roadmaps, ensuring transparency and shared understanding across the organization.
- Track product performance using defined metrics and adjust strategy as needed to meet business and user goals.
- Build strong relationships with clients, industry advisors, and subject matter experts to gather insights and validate product direction.
- Support go to market planning, including messaging, positioning, and launch readiness activities.
- Ensure product features and workflows adhere to relevant clinical research standards, including RBQM and oversight expectations.
- Champion a collaborative, innovative culture across cross-functional teams.
- Take on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Technology, or a related discipline. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Deep understanding of the clinical research landscape, including RBQM principles, regulatory expectations, and operational workflows.
- Strong command of product management frameworks, tools, and best practices.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, strategic planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams (advanced/fluent English communication skills).
- Proven leadership qualities that inspire confidence, accountability, and creativity.
Required Experience:
- 7+ years of product management experience within life sciences, clinical technology, or software development (management experience within life sciences, clinical technology is required).
- Experience maintaining and communicating product roadmaps.
- Hands-on experience launching and managing software products, ideally involving RBQM, centralized monitoring, or oversight solutions.
- Demonstrated success managing products across their full lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience working in fast-paced or startup environments within the life sciences or health tech sectors.
- Certifications in Product Management, Agile, or related methodologies.
- Strong technical foundation and familiarity with modern software development processes.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically when navigating complex challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on collaboration, empathy, and relationship building.
